What is the Scheduler?
|
The convention scheduler is your personal planner for the 2009 CEC Convention & Expo.
It allows you to plan your convention week BEFORE arriving in Seattle by creating your personalized daily schedule.
With access to our online database of convention sessions, you can build (and re-build) your schedule as many times as you want,
now through April 4, 2009.

Attend Professional Development Sessions

| The CEC Convention & Expo is the largest professional development event focused on improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. Choose from
over 800 sessions including strands, special invited speakers, and poster sessions! Browse the Expo and bring home
countless free materials and ideas for extending the learning experience for the individuals you serve. Visit the
Career Center! Attend the Yes I Can! Awards ceremony! And more.

It’s Easy to Use!

- Create Your User Account - Choose Log in to the Scheduler, top right, then Create New User.
All that is required is your E-mail address and a password.
- Build Your Schedule
- Choose Search at the top left of the Scheduler home page. A new page opens with a search box.
- Enter your search requirements. You can search all convention sessions by topic area, keyword, date, or session leader’s last name. Your search results will return on the same page.
- Add as many sessions as you can fit into your schedule by simply clicking the
 button.
- You can reset and search using different criteria.
- Once you have added one or more sessions to your schedule, you may view your schedule by clicking
on the View Schedule link (located on the top right of the screen).
- Print Your Schedule – Share it with your colleagues! Onsite, you can use your schedule to
navigate from session to session in Seattle.
- View Live Updates - Each time you log in, you can view your up-to-the-minute schedule (changes to the database are live). Any date or room changes, as well as session cancellations, will be reflected on your schedule.
- Receive E-mail Updates - We will be sending you periodic updates notifying you of changes to your schedule.
