The Division on Career Development and Transition’s, Human Rights and Cultural Diversity Committee will discuss challenges of educating students in an increasingly diverse society. As the strand’s opening session, the session communicates a basic understanding of diversity including definitions, student outcomes, concerns surrounding educator, student and parent collaboration, diversity as environment specific, and orienting attendees to forthcoming strand sessions.
